The Curious Goat – Restaurant Review.

The Curious Goat is a cafe located in Walthamstow in a modern building near St James street station. It’s more than just a coffee shop in that it serves breakfast and brunch.
It is easily accessible by public transport i.e. buses and trains, however, there is no designated car park.
It is a spacious sizeable restaurant with attractive décor. It has lots of eye-catching artwork.

I have been to this cafe twice and both times the customer service has been terrific. It’s a family-friendly restaurant and they have high chairs available for the little ones. It has an intimate feel about it and clients could be seen reading and some were working quietly on their laptops. It has a casual relaxed vibe and it’s nice to go on lunch dates or even by yourself.

The menu has a wonderful range of options; even for vegans and vegetarians. They also have a kid’s menu. I ordered the veggie sausages and chips. The chips were delicious. They were well-seasoned and crunchy. The veggie sausages tasted so good I would have thought they were meat sausages.

My toddler had pancakes which were delicious.

My friend had eggs Benedict which looked delicious as well.

The portions were quite sizeable and the ingredients were fresh and high quality. The cafe has takeaway available which is a plus. It also has a hygiene rating of 5! The prices are pretty reasonable too. An adult and toddler meal is about £10 -£15. We’ll definitely be back.
